Your bill has two parts: the fixed plan fee charged by Shopify on a 30-day cycle, and overage charges for orders above the plan quota. Free includes 100 orders. Paid quotas are Starter 500, Growth 3,000, and Plus 12,000 orders per cycle. Overage is billed in 100-order add-on packs and settled through Shopify at the end of the billing cycle.

Your first paid subscription receives 70% off for the first 3 billing cycles. The default introductory discount applies to the recurring plan fee and eligible overage add-on packs in covered cycles. After the discounted cycles end, the plan fee and add-on packs return to standard pricing. Merchant-specific discounts follow the scope and duration shown on the subscription screen.

You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time, and the change takes effect immediately. If you upgrade from one paid plan to a higher paid plan, your current billing-cycle usage is kept and the new quota applies right away. If you upgrade from Free to a paid plan, a new paid cycle starts from 0 usage. Direct downgrades between paid plans are not supported. To reduce costs, you can cancel renewal; your plan will revert to Free after the current billing cycle ends.

Overage is a settlement unit for the current billing cycle, not a stored balance. Already finalized or billed overage will not be refunded or turned into reusable credit. Overage that has not been finally settled yet may be recalculated under the higher plan, and any part covered by the new quota will not be charged.

Yes. You can cancel renewal at any time. You'll continue to have access to all features until the end of the current billing cycle, and you won't be charged again. Your plan will automatically revert to Free.

Paid plans automatically bill overage in add-on packs: Starter $8/100 orders, Growth $6/100 orders, and Plus $5/100 orders. If an active subscription discount applies to overage, eligible packs use the discounted price in covered cycles. Free plan: once usage exceeds 100 orders, some admin features are restricted; upgrading lifts the restriction. Email alerts are sent when usage reaches 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100% of the quota.

No. Overage charges only settle usage for the current billing cycle. They do not roll over to the next cycle and they do not transfer across plans as stored balance.

Orders are counted within your current 30-day billing cycle. Each order is counted only once, deduplicated by order ID. Draft orders are excluded from the count.
